Shipping
Made to Order Suits
Our suits are handmade to order. Turnaround time from going to production to delivery, turnaround is currently running between 6 - 8 weeks for both standard sized and custom tailored suits.
We are often able to accomodate shorter turnaround times upon request. Please get in touch with us and we will do our best to accomodate your timeline.
In Stock Clearance Items
Clearance items sent from our local warehouses are normally delivered within 7 - 10 days.
Stock Ivy, Newsboy and Scally Caps
Our flat caps are kept in our warehouse in the USA, orders are usually sent same day for orders placed before noon pst. They are sent in a different shipment than your suit or any other accessories.
Accessories
Accessories can take 2 - 4 weeks to deliver from our warehouse, depending on the customer's location.
Turnaround times are subject to change from time to time so please check your order confirmation email for updates on production times. The sooner we receive your measurements the sooner we can begin making your suit, so please plan accordingly.
Special Note: Deliveries during specific holiday seasons like Christmas, New Years, Father’s Day, Easter, etc.) may take longer. Please plan ahead!
Tweedmaker.com does everything within our control to make sure that your suit is constructed and shipped on a timely basis. Unfortunately, there are times that delays do occur, and they are usually due to unexpected issues involving shipping. While we will keep you informed with any information we have available to us, Tweedmaker.com will not be held responsible for shipping delays that are out of our control.
Our Classic Tweed suits are manufactured in China and sent directly from China to your delivery address. Our Signature Tweed suits are manufactured in Indonesia and sent directly from Indonesia to your delivery address. DHL (or other courier) may charge you a customs or VAT fee in cases where it is applicable, and you will be responsible to pay them directly.
We are unable to confirm an exact charge for import duties and customs fees and we recommend checking with your local Customs authority. Paying the customs or import tax is the consumers’ responsibility in all cases. Therefore it is important that you take into consideration customs procedures and import laws for the country of delivery before placing your order.
Returns
Tweedmaker.com stands behind all our products and strives to make sure that our clients are 100% satisfied with their purchase. If for some reason you are not satisfied, you may return your purchase within 30 days of receiving it, and we'll exchange it for a new suit or a full refund, no questions asked. The following guidelines apply:
- The size you ordered was incorrect.
- The quality of the item was not to your satisfaction.
- The item you received was not what you ordered or was not as described.
Important Notes:
- Customized items and custom tailored suits are non-returnable and non-refundable
- Customers will be responsible for all shipping costs associated with returns or refunds
- Your suit must be returned in its original packaging (where possible) and in the exact condition in which it arrived
If you wish to make a return or request a refund, you should go the write to us at tonya@tweedmaker.com and we will give clear instructions as to how to proceed with your return.
Once Tweedmaker.com receives and inspects your returned item, we will notify you via email that it is in our possession. Tweedmaker.com reserves the right to determine the returned product’s condition. We will contact you as soon as a determination has been made regarding the approval or rejection of your refund request. If your refund has been approved, we will process the request and issue a full refund within 7 working days.
