The normal processing time for each order is up to 48 hours, and then up to an additional 48 hours for your payment to clear. Once cleared, your order details will be handed over to our tailors, who will begin production immediately.

Turnaround times typically run between 6 - 8 weeks from the time an order for a made to order suit goes to production. We are often able to accomodate shorter turnaround times upon request. Please get in touch with us and we will do our best to accomodate your timeline. 

** Deliveries during specific holiday seasons like Black Friday, Christmas, New Years, Father’s Day, Easter, etc.) may take longer.  Please plan ahead! 

If you would like to mix & match your suit fabrics, that is no problem at all! Just order the base suit fabric and let us know the substitutions here immediately after you have placed your order.

We can change the colour of the buttons to black if you prefer. Simply add the Black Buttons optional extra to cart and we will change the button colour for you. Please note that changing the button colour renders your suit customized and non returnable and non refundable.

If for any reason you need to cancel an order, please contact us immediately. Be sure to include your order number and your reason for needing to cancel. 

In cases where Tweedmaker.com has not yet begun production of your suit order, we will be happy to refund your payment immediately.

In cases where your suit has already been placed into our production cycle, we will, unfortunately, be unable to cancel your order immediately. In these situations, you will receive your completed suit as scheduled, and then once received, you can begin the official process of requesting a full refund as a product return.

For standard sized suits, just select and purchase your suit and we will send you an email after you purchase, with super easy and precise instructions on how to give us the RIGHT measurements, so we can recommend the PERFECT size for you!

Cut from the ground up, our fully custom suits are the pinnacle of fit and comfort. We take a whole bunch of measurements and our tailor start from scratch to ensure the best fit for you. These finely tailored hand crafted require a bunch of extra additional measurements, but don't worry they are just as easy to take as the standard measurements. This option is great for gents who seem to find it difficult to fit a standard size suit.

Our sizing expert will be in touch within an hour to collect your custom measurements. Your measurements are reviewed twice so you can be sure of a perfect fit out of the box.

Please note that since your suit will be custom tailored to your exact body measurements it won't be returnable or refundable so it is very important to take accurate measurements.

If you have placed an order for multiple suits for more than one person, watch your inbox for your sizing email. Instead of using the submission form within that email to submit the measurements, please just hit reply to that email with the measurements outlined for each suit. 

We can make suits for children from approximately 7 years and over. They would require custom tailoring so be sure to select the Custom Upgrade ($67.00) for the child's suit. 

If the child is smaller but you would like a matching suit please get in touch as we can get an estimate to deliver the required amount of matching fabric so you can have it tailored locally.

Our tailors have a maximum body measurement of 59". Sizes with body measurements over 54" will need a custom-tailoring upgrade.

For custom suits and standard suits where you have opted for sizing help, you should receive an automated measurements request email shortly after your order is placed. Once you complete the form with your measurements we'll review your measurements and confirm all of the details before sending your order over to production.

Our tailors take pride in their work, and always strive to construct a finely appointed hand tailored suit. Unless otherwise stated, once your sizing has been confirmed, tweedmaker.com will place your order into our production cycle.

Clearance Items (From local warehouses): Typically delivered in 5 - 10 days.

Accessory Orders: Typically delivered in 3 - 4 weeks.

Turnaround times are subject to change from time to time so please check back here for updates on production times. The sooner we receive your measurements the sooner we can begin making your suit, so please plan accordingly.

If you need a faster turnaround time, we can at times accommodate that. We ask that you reach out to us via email at tonya@tweedmaker.com once your order is placed and we can let our tailor know when you need your suit so that they can try to expedite it for you. Please note that a reasonable amount of time is needed as your suit will be made to order. 

Special Note:  During holiday seasons like Black Friday, Christmas, New Years, Father’s Day, Easter, Chinese New Year, etc.) we may not be able to expedite some orders.

Unless otherwise arranged, the time from confirming your measurements to delivery is currently running between 6- 8 weeks. 

At this time, we don't have automated tracking updates available due to our tailor's manual system. While we are currently working on updating this process, we do receive regular updates and we are able to retrieve this information for you around 5 - 7 days ahead of the expected delivery date. 

Tweedmaker.com is proud to have longstanding relationships with a talented team of 21 professional tailors located in China and Indonesia. Between them, our tailors have over 200 years of tailoring experience.

Tweedmaker.com does everything within our control to make sure that your suit is constructed and shipped on a timely basis. Unfortunately, there are times that delays do occur, and they are usually due to unexpected issues involving shipping. While we will keep you informed with any information we have available to us, Tweedmaker.com will not be held responsible for shipping delays that are out of our control.

Our Classic Tweed suits are manufactured in China and sent directly from China to your delivery address. Our Signature Tweed suits are manufactured in Indonesia and sent directly from Indonesia to your delivery address. 

DHL or the applicable courier may charge you customs, import or VAT fees upon delivery in cases where it is applicable, and you will be responsible to pay them directly.  We are unable to confirm an exact charge for duties and customs fees, so we recommend checking with your local Customs authority. 

Paying any duties or fees is the consumers’ responsibility in all cases.  Therefore it is important that you take into consideration customs procedures and import laws for the country of delivery before placing your order with Tweedmaker.com.  Import duties are not applicable to USA orders.

Refused deliveries will not be returned to our tailor due to logistics issues in returning items to China. The courier will destroy your parcel and we will be unable to refund or replace your order free of charge. Please do not refuse delivery. Unwanted orders can be returned to us at specific UK and USA addresses, please contact tonya@tweedmaker.com for returns requests. 

We will provide you with specific details about where to send your item for return or exchange. Please email us at tonya@tweedmaker.com to request a refund or exchange. 

Your suit must be returned in its original packaging and in the exact condition in which it arrived.  

When Tweedmaker.com receives your returned package, we will make a new handmade suit and ship it directly to you.  If we have existing items in our stock, then we will use those to fulfil your exchange request. 

Refunds will be processed within 7 days of receipt of the returned item. Tweedmaker.com reserves the right to deny an exchange or return if we deem that the purchaser has damaged the original product. In that case, we will return the original suit to you.  Customers need to ship their items for return and will be held responsible for all shipping costs incurred for returns or exchanges. 

Tweedmaker.com will be happy to exchange your purchase to make sure that you are completely satisfied with the way your suit looks and feels.  In cases where you want to return your purchase for a different size or model, please email us at tonya@tweedmaker.com and we will organize the exchange of your item.

One of our customer satisfaction staff members will coordinate with you to help you find the correct shape and fit for your body type.

Tweedmaker.com stands behind all our products and strives to make sure that our clients are 100% satisfied with their purchase.  If for some reason you are not satisfied, you may return your purchase within 30 days of receiving it, and we will refund your money, no questions asked.  The following guidelines apply: 

• The size you ordered was incorrect.
• The quality of the item was not to your satisfaction.
• The item you received was not what you ordered or was not as described.

**Important note:  Customized items and custom tailored suits are non-returnable and non-refundable.
